The Transport Department has reiterated its commitment to enforcing transport regulations and urged vehicle owners and operators to keep all mandatory permits and documents valid to avoid legal action.

Meanwhile, the department has intensified enforcement measures across Jammu and Kashmir. These include the suspension of vehicle registrations and cancellation of driving licences of habitual offenders and traffic violators, as part of broader efforts to improve road safety and ensure compliance with transport rules.
