Imran Khan’s tweet on Abrogation of Article 370
Earlier, Imran Khan had tweeted on anniversary of Abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. In his tweet, he said that “I have always strongly and unequivocally condemned Modi govt’s illegal action in revoking special Status of IIOJK. Not only did India brazenly violate international law & UN resolutions but it also committed a war crime under Fourth Geneva Convention by altering demography of IIOJK. What is very unfortunate, is how the powerful in the international community continue to adopt a discriminatory approach towards the issue of human rights. This acceptance by the powerful of India’s continuing HR violations with impunity is similar to Munich and the appeasement of Hitler. I will continue to raise my voice on all forums in support of the Kashmiris struggle & their right to self determination as guaranteed under UNSC resolutions.”
