Actor Raja Sarfaraz Meets LG Manoj Sinha; Discusses Youth Empowerment, Tourism & Drug-Free Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu, May 22: Raja Sarfaraz Ahmed met Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and held discussions on youth empowerment, tourism development, social awareness and the future roadmap for Jammu & Kashmir.
During the interaction, Raja Sarfaraz appreciated the initiatives being taken under the leadership of LG Manoj Sinha for the welfare of the youth and strengthening peace across the Union Territory. Discussions were also held regarding the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan”, a major campaign launched to eliminate drug abuse and protect the younger generation from narcotics and narco-terror networks.
The meeting highlighted how the administration has been actively involving students, athletes, volunteers and local communities in anti-drug awareness drives, rallies and youth engagement programmes across Jammu & Kashmir. LG Manoj Sinha has repeatedly stressed that the future of J&K’s youth must be safeguarded from drugs and terrorism through strict action against smugglers, rehabilitation efforts and public participation.
Raja Sarfaraz also discussed issues related to Doda district and emphasized the immense tourism potential of the scenic Bhalessa region. He sought greater focus on infrastructure, tourism promotion and employment opportunities for local youth so that remote areas can benefit from the ongoing developmental push in Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting was described as positive and future-oriented, focusing on youth power, social reforms and the vision of a peaceful, progressive and terror-free Jammu & Kashmir. Over the past few years, the administration under LG Manoj Sinha has consistently focused on improving security, promoting tourism, encouraging investment and creating opportunities for young people across the region.
