Municipal Council Kishtwar received sanitation equipment and safety items from Kwar Hydro Electric Power Project under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The items distributed among sanitation workers included masks, gloves, safety shoes, radium vests, phenyl, brooms, and other essential materials aimed at improving sanitation operations and ensuring worker safety.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of providing proper safety equipment and sanitation resources to frontline workers maintaining public hygiene.
The initiative is expected to improve sanitation services and strengthen working conditions for sanitation workers across Kishtwar town and adjoining areas.
Officials from CVPPL and Municipal Council Kishtwar were also present during the event.
