Sopore, Apr 7 : Sopore Police on Tuesday organised a farewell function for Additional Superintendent of Police Sopore, Mir Murtaza, following his transfer to Bandipora.
The event was held at the District Police Lines Sopore and was attended by SSP Sopore Iftkhar Talib, along with other senior officers, SHOs and DOs of the police district.
Officers on the occasion highlighted Murtaza’s role during his tenure in Sopore and acknowledged his handling of various policing assignments.
The SSP extended his best wishes to the officer for his new posting and appreciated his service in the district. Police officials also conveyed their good wishes for his tenure in Bandipora, officials said. (Agency)
