MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar on Tuesday participated in the prestigious Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, held in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, providing a significant platform for youth-led discussions on India’s future development roadmap.
Taking to social media, Shagun Parihar described her participation in the dialogue as a privilege and termed the interaction as both enriching and inspiring. She said the event brought together esteemed national leaders and dynamic young leaders from across the country, offering a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives on nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi emphasized that India’s youth are the driving force behind the vision of a Viksit Bharat and called upon young leaders to take ownership of the country’s future. He stated that the country is moving ahead with a clear roadmap focused on innovation, self-reliance, and inclusive growth, and stressed that leadership rooted in integrity and service is essential for sustainable development. The Prime Minister urged the youth to leverage technology, promote innovation, and contribute actively to strengthening national security and economic growth. He also highlighted the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and commitment to democratic values, asserting that empowered and aware young leaders will play a decisive role in transforming India into a developed nation in the coming years.
According to Shagun Parihar, the dialogue provided deep insights into India’s development vision, with focused deliberations on leadership, national security, innovation, and youth-driven development. The discussions strongly highlighted the pivotal role of young leaders in shaping the nation’s future and contributing meaningfully to its progress.
