CM Omar Abdullah pays tribute to Sheikh Abdullah on his 120th birth anniversary

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday paid glowing tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 120th birth anniversary, describing him as a statesman who “reshaped the destiny of Jammu & Kashmir.”

In his message, the Chief Minister said Sheikh Abdullah gave “voice to the voiceless, land to the tillers, and dignity to those long denied their rightful place in society.” He added that the late leader’s struggle was rooted in “courage and compassion,” driven by a vision to build a just, inclusive and empowered Jammu & Kashmir.

“Today, we draw strength from his ideals and remain committed to carrying forward his vision of progress, unity and social justice. Sher-e-Kashmir’s legacy is not just a chapter of history; it continues to breathe through the aspirations and achievements of our people,” Omar Abdullah said.
