The Delhi Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for sharing the images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in posts on X.
The FIR was lodged at the North Avenue police station on Monday, following a complaint by Brijesh Rai, the Delhi BJPâs office secretary.
Reacting to the FIR, the AAP alleged that the BJP is weaponising law enforcement agencies to suppress opposition voices as part of its electoral strategy. âThe BJP only engages in negative politicsâfiling false cases and misusing state machinery to suppress opposition leaders,â an AAP spokesperson said.
Raiâs complaint accuses AAP of employing AI technologies to create videos and images targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of its ongoing election campaign.
