Security forces on Thursday apprehended three terrorist associates in the Hajin Kralgund area of North Kashmir’s Handwara.
Officials told media that a joint team of police, army, and CRPF conducted a search operation which led to the arrest of the three individuals.
The arrested associates have been identified as Mohd Iqbal Pandith, son of Shareef Din Pandith, resident of Bunpora Langate; Sajad Ahmad Shah, son of Bashir Ahmad Shah, resident of Chekparin; and Ishfaq Ahmad Malik, son of Shabir Ahmad Malik, resident of Kralgund.
Authorities recovered one pistol, two rounds of pistol ammunition, 20 rounds for an AK rifle, and 20 posters from their possession.
A case has been registered by the police, and investigations are ongoing. (Agencies)
