SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday chaired another high-level meeting with Deputy Commissioners of border districts to review the prevailing situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and ensure effective coordination on the ground.

According to a post shared by the Chief Minister’s Office on X, the meeting was aimed at assessing the latest developments in sensitive areas impacted by recent cross-border shelling.

“Held another meeting today with Deputy Commissioners of border districts to assess the ground situation,” the CMO stated.

The Chief Minister reiterated that “coordinated efforts are being made to ensure the seamless provision of essential facilities” to affected populations in these areas.

Officials said that steps are being taken to guarantee uninterrupted supply of food, medical care, and shelter to residents, with contingency plans already activated in vulnerable zones.
