5-Year-Old Girl Injured in Jackal Attack in Poonch’s Mandi Area
A five-year-old girl sustained injuries after being attacked by a wild animal in Sawjian, located in the Mandi area of Poonch district, on Saturday.
According to officials, the child, identified as Abroo, daughter of Mohammad Sakinder from Gagrian, was attacked on the face by a jackal.
Locals and family members rushed to the spot and rescued the girl, immediately shifting her to the nearby PHC Sawjian for treatment.
A doctor at the health centre confirmed that the minor had suffered facial injuries and required a few stitches. She was later discharged after receiving medical attention.
