Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substances abuse,Jammu Police in R S Pura area achieved one more success by recovering 15 gms of heroine like substance from 02 drug peddlers from Badyal Qazian Near Grid Station Sunderpur under the jurisdiction of Police Station R.S Pura.
A Police team of Police Station R.S. Pura led by PSI Naresh Kumar No.196740/EXJ assisted by other officers/officials of this P/S under the supervision of SHO P/S R.S Pura,Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar on 31.01.2026,while on routine patrolling under the jurisdiction of Police Station established a naka at Badyal Qazian near Grid Station Sunderpur and stopped one Activa Scooty(Grey Colour) bearing registration No. JK02BV-4796 for checking purpose. During Checking 15 gms of heroin like substance along with electronic weighing machine has been recovered from the possession of rider namely 1)Shubham Singh @ Kinu S/o Tarsem Singh R/o Makhdoom, Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu and pillion rider namely 2) Rohit Singh @ laddu S/o Girdhari Lal R/o Makhdoom, Tehsil Suchetgarh District Jammu
In this regard, a case FIR No.23/2026 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station R.S Pura, accused persons got arrested and investigation started.
Jammu Police reiterates its firm resolve to eradicate the menace of drugs from society and appeals to the public to cooperate by sharing information related to drug trafficking and abuse.
