In March of this year, a mother-daughter duo successfully thwarted a burglary attempt by two armed men posing as delivery boys in Hyderabad’s Begumpet. The two men rang the doorbell, and when the house help answered, they forcibly pushed their way inside.

One of the intruders made his way to the kitchen, brandishing a knife and threatening the maid, while the other was fighting off the teenager skilled in martial arts. The commotion drew the attention of neighbours, who rushed to the house to help. Together, they managed to catch one of the suspects, while the other was later apprehended by the police.
