Jammu: A three-day exhibition on new criminal laws concluded in Jammu, showcasing various facets of law enforcement and cybercrime awareness. The event was inaugurated by DGP Jammu & Kashmir, Sh. Nalin Prabhat IPS, and featured 17 stalls, including those of the Crime Wing, District Police, FSL, Cyber Police Station Jammu, Women Police, Fingerprint Bureau, EOW, SCW, ANTF, and Prosecution Branch. Thousands of visitors, including students and the general public, attended the exhibition to gain awareness about the new laws and policing initiatives.
While the DGP appreciated all stalls, the stall presented by CICE Jammu, headed by Sh. M.Y. Kichloo IPS, was adjudged the best in terms of presentation, technological facilities, awareness, and overall arrangements. The stall attracted the highest footfall, where the functioning of the Cybercrime Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE) was explained to the public, along with demonstrations of various verticals and portals for registering complaints, including the 1930 helpline.
A dedicated Cyber Help Desk for Women was also inaugurated by the DGP in the presence of senior officers, including ADGP Armed Sh. Anand Jain IPS, IGP Jammu Sh. Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Crime Sh. Sujeet Kumar IPS, DIG Doda-Jammu, and DIG Traffic SSP S.
On the conclusion of the exhibition, Sh. Sujeet Kumar IPS presented the Overall Best Presentation and Performance Award to Sh. M.Y. Kichloo IPS for his outstanding contribution. In his speech, the DGP highlighted the CICE stall as a must-visit for anyone seeking redressal of cybercrime-related queries.

The exhibition not only emphasized awareness about cybercrime and public safety but also provided a platform to educate citizens about the new criminal laws and their practical applications.
