SSP Kichloo brings laurels to JKUT,receives prestigious award for ‘cybercrime and preventive measures’ project

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) security civil secretariat J&K, Mohd Yaseen Kichloo has been conferred with prestigious “Governance Now India Police “award in recognition of his contribution to the public service through innovative use of technology during a valedictory function held here on other day,bringing laurels to Police Department and Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Adding another feather to his cap,Kichloo received the award for his project cybercrime and preventive measures.The occasion was graced by the battery of senior most officers of various departments present in the function. 

Speaking on the occasion SSP Kichloo explained that in Jammu and Kashmir complaints have been received from the public through online mode even in coronavirus pandemic outbreak and petitions were forwarded immediately to concerned police stations online and arrangements were made to take legal action against the complaints .

The Indian police awards is a part of India Police Summit & Awards to identify the best initiatives under the Indian Police Force for technology enablement across the country for solving crimes and incidents to felicitate them as a token appreciation and encouragement. 

In the world of technology where Internet hackers  are active in targeting innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir, police is prepared to aware masses about cyber threats and their prreventive measures. 

In an initiative under title cybertimshel by SSP MY Kichloo has been recognised by Governance Now police awards amongst more than 100 nominees  from various states, JK represented by Mr Kichloo has won national level awards for aware cyberjagrokta.

Earlier he has also won national level FICCI award besides smart policing award in 2017.The efforts of Mr Kichloo has registered win of Jammu and Kashmir Police in cyberfield at national level. Experts have termed Mr Kichloo as a certified  ‘cyberengine practitioner’.
