Srinagar Police Intensify Inspection of Doctors’ Lockers in Medical Institutions

In a bid to strengthen transparency, accountability, and security in health institutions, Srinagar Police, in coordination with medical officers from the Health Department, conducted inspections of lockers used by doctors and staff across district and private hospitals, medical colleges, PHCs, and other health facilities.

The inspections aimed to prevent misuse of lockers for unauthorized storage of illegal or hazardous materials and to reinforce internal security within medical institutions. All racks and lockers were thoroughly examined, and staff were reminded to maintain proper records and use lockers strictly for official purposes.

Authorities said such inspections will continue regularly as part of routine vigilance to ensure a safe and secure environment in hospitals. Srinagar Police reaffirmed its commitment to citizen safety and national security. (Agencies)
