Doda blast case throws starling revelations, two terrorist including Pakistani got killed in an encounter in the house of two accused in 1996

Jammu: Doda police booked two siblings in Thursday (12-9-2025) Doda blast case under UAPA and started its investigation into the high profile terror case that has its root some 30 years ago.
The official sources told News Insider 24X7, that an information was received through reliable sources at Police Station Doda that Javed Hussain Attu (45) and Muzaffar Hussain Attu (36) sons of late Abdul Ahad Attu residents of Mohalla Drumri Tehsil and District Doda, have been found involved in terrorist activities.
Both the siblings with criminal intent have conspired to carry out acts of terrorism in order to disturb the peaceful environment of the area, spread fear and panic among the public, endanger the security and integrity of the country, and to cause harm to the security forces.
For this purpose, they had concealed a grenade inside their house with the intention of attacking a nearby police post or security forces personnel added that while preparing to carry out a terrorist attack using the said prohibited grenade, the grenade slipped from the hand of Javed Hussain which fell into the courtyard of the said house, and exploded with a loud blast. However, due to the explosion of the grenade, no person was reportedly injured, but it created an atmosphere of fear and terror among the general public.
On this information a case FIR No. 211/2025 u/s 4/5 ESA &13/16/18/39 UAPA has been registered in this police station and investigation of this case has been entrusted to Dy. SP HQ Doda Ajay Anand.
The official sources told News Insider 24X7 that the house of the two accused brother is not new to terror related activities added that two terrorists including Pakistani terrorist was killed in an encounter in the house of
Late Abdul Ahad Attu s/o Habib Attu R/O Drumri Mohalla Doda and in this regard an FIR No 25/1996 u/s 307,212,RPC , 3/25 A Act, 3/4 ESA Dated 24/02/1996 stands registered at Police Station Doda and as per the police record, the two terrorist killed in the encounter with 10 RR & Doda Police they were identified as Abdulla Bahi R/o Pakistan and a local terrorist Bashir Ahmed S/o Sader Din Ahmed R/o Malwas Doda in the house of accused person.
After investigation case has been challaned vide challan No. 37 Dated 30/06/1997 against the accused person namely Abdul Ahad Attu s/o Habib Ittu who had remained in jail for several years.
The officials told News Insider 24X7 that one among the two accused is a shopkeeper and was also involved in scrape business while the other accused Muzzafar Hussain is working in the health department.
The officals said that both the accused has formally been arrested and the investigation to ascertain involvement of more persons is underway.
