Shield fighters have made a success taking two medals at 5th Cadet National Taekwondo Championship held in the city of Rajasthan.
Taekwondo athlete’s from District Doda, Representing J&K – UT, Soha and Misbah clinched two Bronze medals for J&K Union Territory in 5th Cadet National Taekwondo Championship held at University of Kota, Rajasthan from 28th to 31st March 2023. The championship was organized by the Rajasthan Taekwondo Association under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India and supported by Rajasthan Olympic Association. The championship were attended by more than 800 players from across the country.
The athletes of Shield Taekwondo Academy Doda represented the UT – J&K and secured 02 Bronze medals in the said event with the support of Mr Burhan Ud Din Khan as Coach. Soha won bronze medal in Under 59 kg Cadet Girls category and Misbah won bronze medal in Under 51 kg Cadet Girls category. From Team Shield Radha Sharma, Zikra Fatima, Khadija Ul Qubra, Mohammad Hadi and Samrat Singh also participated in the championship. President District Doda Taekwondo Association Congratulated the whole Shield Team for this remarkable achievement.
