While it marks as an important day for the farmers, the festival of Lohri is widely celebrated in the Northern India where the family,
Before we share with you how the star couple celebrated Lohri 2020, let’s give you a recap of the 2019 celebrations of the Kapoor family. A couple of Instagram stories shared by Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had given us a sneak peek into
their Lohri celebrations. The star wife had posted pictures of their Lohri bonfire and her baby girl, Misha decked in all-yellow, chilling with her baba, Pankaj Kapur. What was further notable was Mira chilling with her sister-in-law, Sanah Kapur (Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak’s daughter).
relatives, friends and neighbours come together and create memories of a lifetime. Lohri is all about bonfire, dhol, sweets and happiness! And to make the most of this joyous festival, Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor too huddled together with their close friends and celebrated Lohri at their residence.
Yet again, on Lohri 2020, Mira Rajput Kapoor treated her fans with a sneak peek into the celebrations at her residence. Recently, Shahid Kapoor had headed back to his home post an on-set injury during the shoot of Jersey in Mohali, and he had returned to Mumbai with his wife, Mira. Shahid and Mira hosted an intimate get-together-cum-celebration bash on Lohri and it was all about bonfire, popcorns and sweets. Mira posted glimpses of the same on her Insta stories, but we missed her munchkins, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor in the celebration pictures. Take a look:
On January 12, 2020, Shahid Kapoor had penned down a thank you note for his well-wishers and reassured them that he is “recovering fast”. Shahid had tweeted, “Thank you for all the concern. Yes I have got a few stitches but am recovering fast. #jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least. Have a good one you all. Keep it real. Make it count. Spread the love. Humanity above all.”
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor always make sure to delight their fans with beautiful sneak peeks into their family life and often post pictures of their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. For instance, on Raksha Bandhan 2019, since it marked to be the first one together for Misha and Zain, Mira had taken to Instagram and had given their fans a glimpse of the celebration. In the beautiful family picture, Misha was seated on her mommy’s lap tying her first-ever rakhi to her baby brother, Zain, who was seated on his dad, Shahid Kapoor’s lap. While you gape at the picture in wonderment, did you notice how adorably Misha twins with her mom and Zain with his dad?
It was on New Year 2019 when for the first time ever, the world had gotten a glimpse of the very first family photograph of the awesome-foursome clan. Expressing gratitude for 2018, a year that made the Kapoor family complete, Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had captioned the family picture with Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor as “Grateful for the year that made us complete. Happy New Year.” On Mira’s birthday, photographer, Ankit Chawla had posted a picture of the mother-son duo and it was too adorable for words. While mommy, Mira had looked stunning in an ill-fitted white shirt which she had teamed with a statement neckpiece and had kept her hair straight, her then-newborn son, Zain could be seen wrapped in a grey blanket. Mira couldn’t take her eyes off her little bundle of joy, who could be seen nestled into her arms!
Where otherwise Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are chalk and cheese as he’s into German techno, she likes Indie pop, when it comes to bringing up kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, they are a team. Roles are perfectly cut out as Mira is the disciplinarian and Shahid is the softy. Shahid had explained, “Our kids are the first two projects we actually did together. One year into an arranged marriage, when you haven’t spent enough time together [earlier], you really evolve around each other.”
