Retired Incharge Dy Registrars up in arms against Cooperative Deptt for non conduct of DPC

Jammu, Oct 15: Retired incharge Deputy Registrars of Cooperative Department have expressed grave resentment for not conducting DPC/PSC for the last over 16 years of 20 incharge Dy Registrars who have been facing mental agony on the issue.

According to representation furnished by I/C Dy Registrars to Secretary Cooperative Department way back in 2013, whereunder the aggrieved have urged that DPC meeting with PSC was pending for years together and it was therefore, brought to your kind notice that same be convened at the earliest.

In response to above said representation of the aggrieved incharge Dy Registrars nothing concrete was witnessed on the ground and since than some more years have passed but tha issue remained unsettled.

According to sources the last DPC has been conducted way back in 2006 in the depart- ment.The aggrieved alleged that since then they have been continuously persuing for conduct of meeting vis a vis confirmation of promotion but all in vain as nobody responds to our pleas, they added.

Moreover, as per government advisory Public Service Commission is absolute authority to hold DPC and after every two years the process is to be repeated as far as ruling of Supreme Court is concerned and with in a period of six months of the meeting promotion of the officials is said to be confirmed but incharge Dy Registrars who were promoted from Assistant Registrars (Gazetted) in 2007.

Since the last over 16 years the aggrieved incharge Dy Registrars have been running from pillar to post for their legitimate rights due to poor work culture prevailing at civil Secretariat. They in one voice have urged the LG and Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory to take initiative to redress the long pending grievances at an earliest.
