Calling the claims “baseless” and “politically motivated,” Chadha asserted that his parliamentary record clearly reflects his consistent efforts to highlight key concerns related to Punjab.

Parliamentary Record Contradicts Allegations

Chadha emphasized that his work in Parliament is publicly documented and accessible to citizens. He pointed out that he raised the issue of pending funds for Punjab on July 31, 2024, with records available on Sansad TV.

According to him, the allegations overlook verifiable facts and official parliamentary proceedings.

Highlighting his contributions, Chadha listed several major issues he has raised in Parliament:

  • Release of pending Rural Development Fund (RDF) dues
  • Groundwater depletion and sustainable water management
  • Farmers’ crisis, including MSP concerns and rising input costs
  • Financial justice and federalism issues

“Focused on Impact, Not Theatrics”

Chadha stated that his approach in Parliament prioritizes substance over political theatrics.

“I entered Parliament to create impact, not to create ruckus,” he said.

Alleges Misinformation Campaign

The MP also accused certain political actors of running a coordinated misinformation campaign against him.

“No amount of repetition can change the truth. Facts remain facts, and records remain records,” Chadha said.

Reaffirms Commitment to Punjab

Reiterating his stance, Chadha said Punjab is not just a political issue but a deeply personal commitment.

“Punjab is not a talking point for me. It is my soul,” he stated, adding that he will continue to advocate for the state with “honesty and conviction.”

Conclusion

The statement from Raghav Chadha comes amid growing political tensions within the Aam Aadmi Party. By citing official parliamentary records, he has sought to counter allegations and reinforce his role in raising Punjab-related issues at the national level.
