Vijaypur, 13th August: In a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s heroes, the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur celebrated the upcoming Independence Day with a vibrant Tiranga Rally and a meaningful Plantation Drive.
The event commenced with a solemn tribute to the martyrs at the memorial, acknowledging their sacrifices for the nation’s freedom. Principal of PTTI Vijaypur, in his inaugural address, highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the essential role of police personnel in preserving national unity and integrity. The festivities began with the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag, followed by a spirited Tiranga Rally around the Institute, with enthusiastic participation from the entire staff and trainees.
In addition to the rally, the Institute organized a Plantation Drive under the theme “Ek Ped Shaheedin Ke Naam” (One Tree in the Name of Martyrs). This initiative saw the planting of a variety of plants, including ornamental, medicinal, herbal, and fruit-bearing species, throughout the Institute’s grounds. The drive emphasized the commitment of PTTI’s community to environmental sustainability and reflected their dedication to honoring the memory of the nation’s heroes through positive action.
The event was graced by distinguished members of the Institute, including Shri Zia-ul-Haq, DySP (Outdoor), Inspector Surinder Singh (CDI), Inspector Javeed Ahmad (RI), Inspector Ram Lal (CLI), and SI Sulinder Singh (SM-Outdoor).This celebration not only paid homage to the sacrifices of the past but also underscored the ongoing commitment of PTTI Vijaypur to both national pride and environmental stewardship
