I target political leaders who ruled, ruined us for a long
Blaming the political parties and their leaders who ruled the Jammu and Kashmir at different intervals of time have brought nothing other than miseries, destruction and devastation on the name of good governance, befooled the people and ruined their life for years together was stated by Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari during an interview to News Insider 24×7 digital web portal here on the other day.
Facing a volley of questions from the reporter, Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari said I know you are a young blood and I am targeting those political parties and their leaders who ruled us for a long but in spite they ruined our lives and brought destruction, devastation and misiries to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the name of good governance.
I ask these parties and theirv leaders why they failed to bring in the resolution of plebiscite, self rule ,autonomy and what not they had promised with the people.They even failed to protect the Articles 370 and 35A in the Jammu and Kashmir which was repealed like any thing and it has gone forever.
Replying to another question, Bukhari said it is a fact that I was one among the founder members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and served as Education Minister in J&K, which was founded by late Mufti Mohd Sayeed who was a visionary politician and later on, for reasons unknown the PDP became the only political party in Jammu and Kashmir which expelled its leaders for one context or the other, Bukhari said adding, Apni Party is junior political party of hardly two years old as yet but has gained ground in Jammu also by reaching out to the people of all walks of life and listen to their grievances.
We don’t speak lies to people because we don’t want to ruin our birth by indulging in false promises like other political parties have been doing so far. We are God fearing people and want to do good for mankind and for our people who are in distress and agony, and we hope after the forthcoming assembly election a popular government will be in place here and Jammu and Kashmir will be taken to heights of developments where state of the art educational institutions ,hospitals road connectivity and other amenities if life will be available to people at their door steps in urban and rural areas as well Bukhari further asserted.
