Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are one of the most loved couples in B-town. The duo, who recently embraced parenthood after welcoming their baby boy Neer in October 2025, continue to win hearts with their social media moments and commitment to social causes.

In her latest post, Parineeti praised Raghav for raising the issue of paternity leave in Parliament. Emphasising that caregiving is a shared responsibility and advocating for its legal recognition in India, Raghav struck a chord when he said, “A father should not have to choose between caring for his newborn and keeping his job. Similarly, a mother should not have to go through childbirth and recovery without her husband’s support.”

Parineeti Chopra shared a heartfelt note for Raghav Chadha on Instagram, expressing her pride in him. She wrote, “My dearest husband, watching you speak today not just as a Member of Parliament but also as a new father to our baby is a moment I will cherish for a long time. Today, you spoke as the father I see every single day.”

She added, “We’ve discussed this so many times — how our baby deserves both parents to be present as much as possible. So when you spoke about paternity leave, it wasn’t just policy; it reflected the way you parent our child. The way you show up without being asked, and understand that parenting is shared, not assigned.”

She concluded with a touching line in Hindi: “Bacche ke paida hone par, keval ek maa ka janm nahi, ek pita ka bhi janm hota hai.”

“There are so many mothers who carry this responsibility alone, often unheard and unseen—living in homes without a father’s or family’s support. Today, you brought their loneliness into Parliament, a space where it truly matters.”

Concluding the note, she wrote, “If this helps even a few parents—especially mothers—feel more supported, it will be a win for us. Thank you for being the father and the leader that you are. I see it every day, and now India will see it too. Proud of you always, my Ragaii.” (Agency)
