Every year tributes to martyrs of July 13,are being paid at Mazar-e-Shouda in downtown Srinagar where a majority of Kashmiris pay a visit to graveyard of martyrs and offer flowers, pray to God for grant of peace to noble souls that fell to the bullets of Dogra forces of princely state of Jammu and Kashmir on this day in 1931 and made supreme sacrifices of their precious lives while defending people of Kashmir.

From the times of Sher I Kashmir Shiekh Mohd Abdullah to Omar Abdullah a traditional function is being held every year  at the party office of National Conference at Nawa-e-Subh and floral tributes are being paid to martyrs of July13, 1931 who got killed by the Dogra  forces of princely state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As usual when National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah today left for his office to attend the function, his vehicle along with other vehicles were stopped due to VVIP movement resulting in to leave the vehicle there and walk on foot to reach the office .Omar told media persons that our vehicles were stopped only because there was VVIP movement to be taken place after sometime but we were stopped nearly 15 minutes before the cavalcade could move on the road. Even roads are being closed during movement of empty vehicles of the VVIPs which indicates that all is not well in Jammu & Kashmir and not to withstand with the tall claims of LG administration.

In other development PDP president Mehbooba Mufti got stuck inside the main gate of her house when she intended to move out of her residence to pay the tributes to martyrs of July 13 at a graveyard. She was perplexed to know that she was put on house arrest without having any prior information about it to her. This is something unusual which happens in Kashmir now. What is all this being done for and who is doing this, she questioned herself in a shocking and surprising state and asked her security deployed on the other side of her gate that who told them to lock out the main gate of her house from other side to restrict her movement but much to her surprise she did not received any reply from them.

Analysts from political corridors presume that the treatment meted out to these political stalwarts and former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir today indicates that LG administration  does not take them seriously but this  question also needs a reply that if all is well in Jammu and Kashmir as told in supreme court of India on day to day hearing on abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, then for what wrongs these leaders  movement was restricted.
