Ahead of the 75th independence day, PM Narendra Modi urged the Indians to hoist the national flag at their houses from August 13 and August 15 as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Want to hoist the National Flag at your home but don’t know where to get it from? India post office is now selling the National Flag at a very nominal rate. The best bit is you do not have to travel to your nearest post office, you can simply order it online. Once you place an order, the national flag will be delivered to your house free of cost, meaning you will not have to pay the delivery charges. Ahead of the 75th independence day, PM Narendra Modi urged the Indians to hoist the national flag from their houses from August 13 and August 15 as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
To bolster the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, India post office is selling the National Flag for just Rs 25. The size of the flag is 20 x 30 inches and is available for just 25 rupees. You can order up to five flags at a time and you will not be charged a delivery fee. To buy the National Flag online, here is what you can do.
–Go to the epost office website at epostoffice.gov.in
–You can then go to the products open
–When you click on products, the first thing on your screen you would see is the National Flag of India.
–You can simply add one or two flags to the cart.
–You could register your account before buying the flag or get it as a guest.
–You will then be asked to enter your mobile number.
–When you enter your number, an OTP will be sent to your mobile.
–Submit the OTP and then you will be taken to a new window where you will be asked to enter your name, address and email id.
–Once you have entered the address, you can proceed to make the payment.
–The flag will be delivered to your home address before August 15.
Urging people to hoist the National Flag at home, PM Modi said, “This year, when we are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga movement. Hoist the Tricolour or display it in your homes between 13th and 15th August. This movement will deepen our connection with the national flag.” Apart from hoisting flags at home, he has also urged people to put the tricolour as their dp on their social media handles.
