Jammu, Aug 15:Non-Governmental Organisation Grameen Women Awareness Association (GWAA) celebrated 75th Independence day under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with gaiety and fervor at Khokhyal in district Kathua under the supervision of Founder/Chairperson of GWAA, Nisha Devi and other members of the organisation.
Nisha Devi unfurled the tricolour and offered salutations to the national flag.
On the occasion she cherished upon the heros of Independence who gave sacrifices of their lives for our country.
At the conclusion of the function sweets and flags were distributed among the people who were present.
