Jammu, Oct 12: Lambasting the administration of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, Jammu and Kashmir several political parties including National Conference have rubbished the order issued by Dy Commissioner Jammu Avni Lavasa where under process of registration of new voters who have been residing in J&K for the last one year or so to include their names into electoral rolls will take place.
Taking a dig at central Government the National Conference in a statement issued here by the party office said that this order is part of process under which 25 lakh outsiders voters will be included into the elecroral rolls in Jammu and Kashmir to felicitate the agenda of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir have snatched the fundamental rights of the people by repealing Article 370 and 35A on August 5,2019,it further added.
PDP president and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti has said that BJP is instrumental in destroying the social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir and the gullible people have to witness new orders from the administration day in and day out for the sake of agenda the BJP has been trying to implement here from the day one. She said BJP is dividing people on different lines to fulfil its political aspirations besides it wants to destroy the Dogra Culture,she added.
Congress party has expressed its resentment regarding the new government order issued by the Union Territory administration saying that BJP has lost its faith on the voters of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile BJP Jammu and Kashmir president Ravinder Raina has said the order is according to People’s Representation Act 1951 and has relevance under the law so it is a welcome step taken by the administration in favour of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
