MP govt announces free education to children from poor families till masters and setting up of new IITs, AIIMS

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its manifesto for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections with focus on providing free education to girls from poor families up to post-graduation, free education to poor students up to Class 12.

The party promised to provide free ration to the poor for the next five years and LPG cylinders to women at ₹450. The party also said it will set up Madhya Pradesh Institute of Technology and Madhya Pradesh Institute of Medical Sciences once it retains power in the state. The BJP further promised to provide 100 units of electricity for ₹100.

On releasing manifesto for MP polls, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said,”It is the guarantee of PM Modi that we will make this manifesto as our road map for the development of Madhya Pradesh and for the welfare of the people of the state. I have a feeling of satisfaction when I say that, whatever we thought and said, we tried to fulfill it… When we noticed that girls are killed in the womb… We made the policy like the Ladli Laxmi Yojana”.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also said that under BJP’s leadership, the state changed from being called ‘Bimaru’ to ‘Bemisal’ state, according to ANI.

JP Nadda in his address said that BJP is the only political party which has implemented its manifestos in letter and spirit by making it the road map of the government. The BJP also keeps an eye on manifesto implementation through its monitoring system, he said.
