Jammu December 19: Leader of Opposition from Jammu & Kashmir, Sunil Sharma, who has recently been appointed by the Bharatiya Janata Party as Co-Incharge for the forthcoming Assam Assembly elections, held a detailed and productive interaction with BJP Election In-charge for Assam, Shri Baijayant Panda Ji, and Election Co-Incharge and former Union Minister, Smt. Darshana Jardosh Ji, in New Delhi.

The high-level meeting focused on crucial organisational, political and strategic aspects to further strengthen the party’s election preparedness in Assam. Extensive discussions were held on booth-level strengthening, cadre mobilisation, outreach initiatives, feedback mechanisms and seamless coordination between the central leadership and the state unit.

Following his appointment as Election Co-Incharge for Assam, Sunil Sharma reaffirmed his commitment to work closely with the party leadership to consolidate organisational strength and expand the BJP’s grassroots presence across the state. He emphasized the importance of effective communication of the BJP government’s developmental achievements and welfare initiatives to the people.

Shri Baijayant Panda Ji shared valuable insights into the overall election roadmap, highlighting the importance of disciplined organisation, data-driven campaigning and focused voter engagement. Smt. Darshana Jardosh Ji stressed enhanced participation of women, youth and first-time voters, underscoring their decisive role in shaping the electoral outcome.

The leaders collectively expressed confidence in the party’s organisational strength and resolved to work with renewed vigour towards securing a historic third consecutive BJP mandate in Assam, aligned with the vision of “Viksit Assam.”
