Srinagar, April 21: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has issued a weather alert for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting generally cloudy skies with chances of light rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds at several places across the Kashmir region and isolated parts of Jammu Division on April 21.
People have been urged to plan travel accordingly and adhere to official advisories related to administration and traffic.
Farmers have been advised to resume agricultural activities starting April 22, as dry weather is expected to prevail on April 22 and 23.
However, another round of thundershowers is forecast for April 24 and 25, which may be accompanied by hailstorms and gusty winds. Dry conditions are expected to return from April 26 onward.
