LG, CM Extend Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings, Pray for Peace and Prosperity
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the Chief Minister extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people, emphasizing the festival’s message of unity, compassion, and togetherness.
In his message, LG Manoj Sinha said, “On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all. Eid marks the end of a sacred period of fasting, prayer, and charity during the holy month of Ramadan. It is a time of joy, togetherness, and reaffirmation of our faith in unity, compassion, and brotherhood.” He further expressed hopes for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all.
The Chief Minister, in his Eid message, highlighted the festival as a divine blessing after a month of devotion and self-discipline. “Eid is an occasion to express gratitude to the Almighty and to cherish the spirit of togetherness and compassion fostered during Ramadan,” he said.
He further emphasized that Eid symbolizes communal harmony and strengthens the bonds of mutual respect and brotherhood. “It is a time to share happiness, extend kindness, and support those in need,” he remarked, adding that the festival reflects Jammu and Kashmir’s rich tradition of cultural inclusivity.
The Chief Minister concluded his message by praying for peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and for all celebrating Eid worldwide.
