Pune February 20 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Kashmiri youth is capable to lead the whole world.
“I felt happy and stress vanished when I saw smiling faces of Kashmiri youth who have suffered a lot”, Shah said while interacting a group of Kashmiri youth in Pune.
During an interaction, the Union Home Minister mingled with the Kashmiri children and youth and subsequently answered their all queries in a free and fair atmosphere.
“On one hand the military and the police are doing their work while on the other hand NGOs like Sarhad are bringing people together and working hard to establish peace and harmony in the valley which is praiseworthy”, Shah said.
He said the government is committed to provide a viable atmosphere for Kashmiri youth in and outside Jammu and Kashmir so that they will rise and shine and bring laurels for the whole country. “The government will continue such efforts in future as well. Though Kashmiri children are studying in other states today, there will be a time when children from other states will go to Kashmir for studies. The government is working to build such an atmosphere there,” he said.
The program was organized by Pune based NGO – Sarhad, which has been doing social work in border states for over 30 years. The program was attended by Chief Minister Maharashtra, Eknath Sindhe; Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis; State Higher and Technical Education Minister, Chandrakant Patil and Founder of the NGO Sarhad, Sanjay Nahar.
