A Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by militants in Choudhry Gund area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday afternoon.
Officials said that the Kashmiri Pandit identified as Pooran Krishan Bhat son of Tarak Nath Bhat resident of Choudhry Gund Shopian sustained critical injures after he was attacked by militants.
The officials further said that the injured was shifted to hospital where he died during the treatment. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
