An unidentified semi-decomposed body was recovered late last night from Bajri Nallah near Baltal in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said on Tuesday.
According to a source, some locals saw the body floating in the Sindh and quickly notified the relevant police station.
He claimed that a police squad arrived at the scene and removed the body shortly after being alerted.
He continued by saying that the deceased’s identification was being confirmed as the body was brought to a neighbouring hospital for medical and legal requirements.
