Srinagar, Sept 20: Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement General Secretary Javid Ahmad said that JKPM refutes the claims of some electronic media portals that Shah Faesal has withdrawn petition in SC, in a statement issued here today.
it is baseless news that Shah Faesal has withdrawn his name from petitioners list but not the petition which was challenging Reorganization Bill of J&K in SC. Only Shah Faesal’s name was removed from petitioners list and rest five petitioners firmly stand in SC against reorganization bill of J&K. The names of rest five petitioners include Javid Ahmad,Shehla Rashid Saif Ali Khan,Rohit Sharma and Dr M Hussain Padder.
Javid Ahmad further stated that some media portals were airing baseless news that Shah Faesal has withdrawn petition and we refute the said news and people are urged to visit SC website to clear their confusions,he further added.
