Kishtwar January 15, 2026: District Working President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Kishtwar, Imtiyaz Zargar, today led a series of wide-ranging public interactions across several areas of the district to assess long-pending civic and developmental issues that residents said have been ignored for years. Senior Youth Leader Shahan Sajjad Kichloo accompanied him during the outreach programme.

During the interactions, local residents raised serious concerns related to basic amenities, infrastructure deficiencies, and lack of sustained development, highlighting what they described as prolonged administrative neglect. As Working President of the party in the district, Imtiyaz Zargar listened to the grievances in detail and assured the people that their genuine issues would be taken up in a structured and result-oriented manner.
Addressing the gatherings, Imtiyaz Zargar asserted that the continued neglect of Kishtwar’s developmental needs is unacceptable. He said that every issue raised by the people will be taken up on priority and pursued persistently with the concerned departments until concrete and visible outcomes are achieved. He made it clear that JKNC, under his leadership at the district level, will not remain a silent spectator while the basic needs and rights of the people are overlooked.

Senior Youth Leader Shahan Sajjad Kichloo, speaking on the occasion, echoed the Working President’s concerns and reiterated the party’s commitment to standing shoulder to shoulder with the people, particularly the youth, in their struggle for development and accountability.
Imtiyaz Zargar further emphasized that development cannot be confined to announcements and publicity alone, and called for time-bound action on all pending civic and developmental issues. He reaffirmed that JKNC will continue its ground-level engagement across Kishtwar and will hold the administration accountable at every level to ensure justice, dignity, and equitable development for the people of the district.
