“J&K Likely to Stay Mostly Dry Today, Light Rain or Thunderstorms Expected at Isolated Spots: MeT”

Srinagar, April 26:
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast generally dry weather for Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, with chances of isolated light rain and thundershowers in some areas.

As per the forecast, April 26 could witness brief spells of light rain or thundershowers during the afternoon in a few isolated regions.

The weather is expected to remain dry between April 27 and April 30. However, light rain and thundershowers may occur at isolated locations on May 2 and 3.

The advisory further warns of hot and dry conditions prevailing across the Jammu Division, with heatwave conditions likely at isolated spots.

People have been advised to stay hydrated, consume plenty of fluids, and avoid outdoor activities during peak heat hours (12 noon to 3 pm).
