Four officers/ officials of J&K Police are among 63 officers/officials who have been awarded the Union Home Minister’s Special Operation Medal for the year 2022.
The medals from J&K Police were conferred upon DIG Shri Vivek Gupta, SSP Shri Chandan Kohli, DySP Shri Sachit Sharma and SgCt Vicky Kumar for showing their valour during an operation.
DGP J&K Dilbag Singh has congratulated all the awardees for their achievement and hoped that this will boost their morale and will also serve as a beacon light for the others to follow. He has thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lt.Governor J&K and the government for recognising the professionalism and dedication of JKP officers and Jawans time and again.
