Food Authorities Seize 21 Quintals of Synthetic Paneer in Gangyal, Jammu

In a significant operation, the Food Safety Department in Jammu seized approximately 21 quintals (2,100 kg) of synthetic and expired paneer from a location in Gangyal. The discovery was made following a tip-off, leading to a coordinated raid by the Food Safety team and the District Commissioner of Food Safety Jammu.

The seized paneer was found to be adulterated with harmful chemicals, posing serious health risks to consumers. Authorities have taken immediate action to destroy the contraband and are investigating the source and distribution network involved in this illegal activity.
