The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has announced a change in school timings for the summer zone areas of Jammu division, effective from May 1.
In an official order issued on Monday, the DSEJ stated that schools in these zones, both government and private, will now operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The new timings will be implemented for all classes, from primary to higher secondary, across the summer zones of Jammu division. The schedule will remain in effect from May 5, 2025, until September 30, 2025, as per the order from the DSEJ, reported Kashmir News Observer.
