Police inaction in Haji Public School issue irks locals, puts student future at stake

Children Welfare Committee shots letter to SSP Doda for constitution of SIT

Jammu, July 1:People have expressed grave resentment over the police inaction to deal with the most unethenic and unsocial issue of Haji Public School Breswana in Doda district wherein teacher was found involved in sending of porn videos to students and physically abuse the children by the teacher namely Tarun Bala of Bengaluru.
Despite registration of a case in police Station Doda against the teacher, no arrest has been made so far in this instant case despite the lapse of over one and half month. 

Terming it an unfortunate incident and a threat to the future of students as well as the civilized society,the Children Welfare Committee of Doda has shot a letter to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda urging him to  direct the police to take action immediately by constituting the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the most absurd case in the history of any educational institution and start investigations thereupon to bring the culprits behind the bars including mastermind Bangaluru based teacher Tarun Bala who is presently absconding.

Though the management of the Haji Public School seems to have been up in arms by organising a protest rally in support of Sabah Haji ,the Trusty of the school by some Over Ground Workers(OWGs) of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit in Breswan first and later at Doda; led by the brother of a slain militant killed in an encounter at Prem Nagar over a decade ago beside the others who were part of the protests are said to be the employees of Haji family and had just come out to join the protest to show their loyalty towards the family.
It is pertinent to mention that Sabah Haji was arrested earlier followed by her defamatory comments on General Bipin Rawat after his death in the tragic chopper crash on December 8 last. In an Instagram post posted on December 9 by Sabah Haji on her Instagram account namely Stand with Kashmir, in which she had called General Rawat ‘The War Criminal’ in a graphic along with his photo. In the accompanying text, she had written, “General Rawat had a history of playing the Indian state’s stooge to near perfection”, with a link to an article by Faheem Hamid Lone on her blog, asking people to read it. Facing the public outrage on Sabah’s comments, Haji Public School had issued a statement distancing itself from her comments. In its official Facebook page, the school at that time said that at present Sabah Haji is not associated with Haji Public School in any official capacity.

The statement reads, “The Haji Public School management would like to clarify that a recent distasteful media post during the rounds has nothing to do with the school and that the said person has acted in their individual capacity”.

Sabbah Haji was arrested after complaints were lodged against her by BJYM activists for cybercrime. Accordingly, an FIR was registered against her at police station Doda. Later on Sabah Haji was released on bail by the court on personal bond of Rs 50,000, after she submitted a written apology for her post.
While sharing more details with Public Herald through a video, prominent and senior journalist Asif Iqbal Naik said that the management of Haji Public School Breswan had left no stone unturned to play with the future of innocent students by promoting the porn videos which have made rounds on social media through a particular group being operated by Sabah Haji, absconding teacher Tarun Bala and others . Though the school management claims that they have ceased all the ectronic gadgets, erased the social media messages and videos but the fact remains that the data got leaked and there was use of plenty of abuses and unparlimentary language in the messages that were sent to students besides porn videos have gone viral by the school teacher and his associates, he added.
He said our main agenda was to break the story of an educational institution which was established on forest land by using influence at higher level by the owners was being used for unsocial activities and bring the facts before administration and general public for the sake of future of hundreds of students who come to here to become nation builders for tomorrow but the education they were being provided at this school today was disastrous by all means which can ruin their future,career and life altogether. 
“I am receiving threats from Dubia based mobile numbers who are considered close to Haji family which include one Asif Iqbal Butt Son of Javed Iqbal Butt, R/o Breswana working at the house of paternal Aunt of Haji Sabha” said Journalist Asif Iqbal Naik.
Naik said that Asif Butt connection to Pakistan cannot be ruled out & same need to be probed by the government.
“Let Ministry of Foreign Affairs cancel his passport and order probe into shifting of some tainted persons having anti national background to Dubia” said Journalist Asif Naik.
It is urged upon to the district administration of Doda that a thorough probe be initiated in this matter and all law enforcing agencies must act unanimously to thwart the evil designs of those who want to promote social evils on the name of education just like Haji Public School Breswan has been doing.
Although probe is needed to be initiated into the funding channels  of the Haji Public School and its associated concerns just to find out that it may have indulged in any anti-national activities which may prove highly costly later if ignored by now.

The bureau tried to know the official version and status of the case but despite of repeated calls and messages SSP Doda didn’t respond.
