The Anantnag-Kishtwar road via Sinthan Top has been opened for one-way traffic from Anantnag towards Kishtwar, officials confirmed on Monday.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kokernag, Suheel Ahmad Lone, informed Rising Kashmir that light motor vehicles (LMVs) are now permitted to travel one-way from Anantnag to Kishtwar.
He added that the road will remain open from the Kokernag side between 10 AM and 3 PM on Tuesday, and subsequent traffic advisories will be issued as needed.
The road, maintained by NHIDCL, was cleared of snow, enabling safe vehicular movement.
