Jammu, Oct 18: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference youth leader Ifra Jan today lambasted Bhartiya Janata Party and termed that abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 A benefitted no one in Jammu and Kashmir in spite it only satisfied the ego of saffron party.
Talking to News Insider 24×7 Digital Channel and Public Herald Newspaper, Ifra said that after abrogation of these Articles on August 5, 2019 the situation in Kashmir further deteriorated instead of improving as had been claimed by the central government time and time again. She said they alleged National Conference for releasing the militants during their regime and were saying that it was supporter of terrorists but can we question the saffron party why did not the killing of innocent Kashmiris stopped in its Naya Kashmir despite all measures taken by the Union Territory administration with the help of Central government, she added.
Taking a dig at huge security lapses in Kashmir followed by killing of another Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian recently,Ifra said that it is an eye opener for those who have been claiming that Kashmir is changing, militancy has come to an end and number of developments are taking place in valley. Ifra termed it bias and expressed concern over the targetted killings in place.
She said we have a rich cultute and traditions in Kashmir and Hindus, Muslims Sikhs and any other community of Jammu Kashmir are bonded with one another with love and brotherhood.She also condemned the targetted killing of Kashmiri Pandits.
Taking a jibe on the orders of government that Reliance stores will open in Jammu and Kashmir and take over the sale of RTD beverages and other items which exactly wil meet the set criteria without applying a piece of mind that what is going happen with the local traders,she further added.
Ifra has urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to get united and fight for your rights and National Conference stood behind you to achieve the goal.
