Member of Parliament from Baramulla and Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) President Er Rashid has returned to Tihar Jail after the expiry of his five-day interim bail granted from June 25 to June 30 to attend the Chahlum of his late father.

He, however, said the MP’s prolonged incarceration has caused immense hardship to his family and deprived the people of the Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency of direct access to their elected representative.

Appealing to the Government of India and the judiciary, Inam Un Nabi urged authorities to release Er Rashid so that he can freely discharge the responsibilities entrusted to him by the people of Baramulla.
