District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek chaired a meeting to review the formulation of the District Capex Budget for the financial year 2026–27.
The DDC reviewed budget proposals submitted by Block Development Officers and various departments and directed all concerned officers to submit final proposals by May 13 for timely completion of the District Capex Plan.
He instructed departments to revisit proposed projects and ensure that all works are feasible, practical, and can be completed within the stipulated timeline. Emphasis was laid on need-based and community-oriented developmental projects.
The DDC also directed concerned departments to prioritize proposals for construction of school buildings in areas where educational infrastructure is lacking to improve learning facilities across the district.
Senior district officers including ADDC, CPO, ACD, and Chief Education Officer attended the meeting.
