SSP Doda Reviews Law & Order During Visit to Police Station Dessa

Doda, April 24: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Kartik Shrotriya (IPS), conducted a comprehensive visit to Police Station Dessa to assess the law and order situation and review the overall functioning of the police unit. He was accompanied by SP Operations Doda and DySP Operations Dessa-Kastigarh.

During the visit, the SSP interacted with officers and personnel, taking stock of key operational areas including crime control measures, quality of investigation, and mechanisms for public grievance redressal. He emphasized the need for heightened alertness, swift response to incidents, and strengthening of community policing initiatives.

The SSP also carried out a detailed inspection of records, infrastructure, and available resources at the police station. Stress was laid on improving infrastructural facilities, ensuring better office management, and providing basic amenities to enhance both working conditions for personnel and public interface. Necessary directions were issued for optimal utilization of resources and further upgradation of infrastructure.

In addition, SSP Doda held a meeting with members of the Village Defence Guards (VDGs), appreciating their contribution to maintaining local security. He underscored the importance of close coordination between police and VDGs and urged them to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities.

Officers were further directed to strengthen liaison with the local population, intensify patrolling, and take strict action against anti-social elements. Special focus was laid on anti-drug operations, traffic regulation, and maintaining communal harmony.

Reaffirming the commitment of Doda Police to public safety, SSP Doda urged all personnel to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and integrity.
