Tehran, Mar 25: The Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, the unified command of the Iranian Armed Forces, has dismissed US President Donald Trump’s claims that negotiations with Iran are underway and that the war is nearing an end.

In a video shared by Fars News on Wednesday, a spokesperson mocked the US, saying the situation has reached a point where Americans are “negotiating with themselves.”

“The strategic power you once boasted about has now become a strategic defeat. Do not label your defeat as an ‘agreement.’ The era of your promises is over. Today, the world is divided between truth and falsehood. No freedom-seeker will be fooled by your media. Your internal conflicts have reached the stage where you are negotiating with yourselves. There will be no more talk of your regional investments, and energy and oil prices will never return to previous levels until you understand that stability here is guaranteed only by the strong hand of our armed forces,” the spokesperson said.

He added that Iranian forces would never come to terms with US-Israel operations.

“Stability comes through power. We declare: until we will it, nothing will return to its previous state. This will is valid only when any thought of action against the Iranian nation is completely erased. Our message has always been, is, and will remain: we will never negotiate with someone like you—not now, not ever,” he said.

Earlier, President Trump had claimed that negotiations were ongoing and that the US had achieved military superiority over Iran, saying, “We literally have planes flying over Tehran and other parts of their country. They can’t do a thing about it… They are totally defeated… Militarily, they are dead.”

However, Iran has yet to respond formally. On Tuesday, Tehran denied any negotiations with the US, stating that peace would only be possible once US-Israel operations ceased. With the Iranian military continuing retaliatory strikes, including its 80th wave of attacks, tensions in West Asia remain high. (Agency)
