For March 8, Indian carriers—including Air India, Air India Express, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air—planned to operate 49 inbound flights from key regional airports, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Muscat, and Jeddah, subject to operational feasibility and prevailing conditions.

According to the ministry, Indian carriers are also planning to operate around 50 inbound flights on March 9.

The government said airlines are continuously assessing conditions at other airports in the region so that additional flights can be arranged if feasible.

The ministry also stated it is maintaining constant coordination with airlines and stakeholders, while monitoring airfares to ensure ticket prices remain reasonable and free from undue surges during this period.

Passengers have been advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates on flight schedules, and the ministry said it will continue to monitor the situation closely and issue further updates if required.  (Agency)
