External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Saturday paid tributes to the martyrs of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, remembering their supreme sacrifice and unwavering service to the nation.

In a message shared on social media, Jaishankar honoured the 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the deadly attack, stating that their courage and dedication continue to inspire the country. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to combating terrorism and safeguarding national security.

The Pulwama attack, which took place on February 14, 2019, claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans after a suicide bomber targeted their convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. The incident remains one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s history.
